Single plant exuberant vases

I’ve been casually watching the latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In one scene, a woman is at home and walks by a giant glass vase filled with armloads of coreopsis. I was immediately drawn to the wildness and brightness of it. This was the opposite of the manicured cleaned up vases I’ve been making this summer.

This morning I spied my love in a mist had started to turn into seed pods and was crowding out the cosmos that are coming in. I hacked off the bottom and filled a vase with it. I love the alien look of the seed pods and the bright green.
